So I’ve heard about the legend that you can make brownies and other desserts out of beans… So I decided to try!
Turns out you can!!
So definitely they need to be completely cooled, ideally overnight. Also served cold, not room temp to me, otherwise hot from the oven they kinda taste like red bean paste. But once fully cooled, the texture and taste is actually pretty legit!
They’re definitely more of a ‘healthy’ brownie and less of a super rich and oily brownie, which is nice sometimes but obviously it’s not magic. And with all the beans, high protein to boot! Great for a healthier treat that doesn’t leave grease on your hands.
